A Poem of Reciprocity
As I lay in my bed, feeling somewhat alone,
Your spirit danced in my head and let it be known
That when souls meet and touch, it becomes clear
With you by my side, whom shall I fear?
Poems swirled in my mind, and teased my thoughts
More precious than jewels, they couldn't be bought,
And this poem though nice, it doesn't compare
To the ones in my sleep that you whispered in my ear.
